Morning session

Children are typically dropped off at Jelly Beans Pre School at 8.30am, although we do offer a 7.30am start.

The morning session involves up to four hours of learning, rest and play, singing songs, listening to stories, baking bread and enjoying mid-morning milk and water.

 

Valuable time is spent in the outdoors, so children are required to arrive at school with warm outer clothing (waterproof coat, fleece and boots).

The session finishes at 12:20, although for children who are booked in for a full day session, 12:00 heralds lunchtime, always a popular break in the school day!

Afternoon session

The afternoon session starts anytime at 12:20 and runs through to 3.20pm. It is run at a slightly more relaxed pace, and is also punctuated with a mid-afternoon break for water or milk.

There is a quiet story time and rest session for younger children to ensure the pace of the school day doesn't become overwhelming.

The garden accommodates a variety of play, from digging and planting to climbing, playing on bikes and sand and water play.
